You can access university resources, including your regular work desktop, shared internal files, and folders by using the full downloadable VMware Horizon Client or the Horizon web client through your preferred browser. Be sure to install and register for Duo first before starting the VMware Horizon Client. Please note that you will be prompted for multi-factor authentication through Duo during login to the VMWare Horizon environment.

Intranet & UCM Applications
Many applications and resources provided by UCM (such as the Oracle E-business suite, Microsoft Office, network shared drives, and EPIC) are accessed via a portal we call the “UCMC Applications” or “Citrix Clinical Desktop” available through an app made by Citrix.

Working Off-Campus
Install and register for Duo Security first. The Duo app will turn your mobile phone ( highly recommended ), iPad, tablet or landline into a multi-factor authenticator.
Virtual Private Network (VPN)
In addition to using your university password to access theVPN, a second authentication method will be required through Duo. To get started using the GlobalProtect VPN service you'll need to be sure you have registered first with Duo Security.
