Be sure to install and register for Duo first before starting the VMware Horizon Client. Please note that you will be prompted for multi-factor authentication through Duo during login to the VMWare Horizon environment.

Many applications and resources provided by UCM (such as the Oracle E-business suite, Microsoft Office, network shared drives, and EPIC) are accessed via a portal we call the “UCMC Applications” or “Citrix Clinical Desktop” available through an app made by Citrix.

Working Off-Campus
Install and register for Duo Security first. The Duo app will turn your mobile phone ( highly recommended ), iPad, tablet or landline into a multi-factor authenticator.
Virtual Private Network (VPN)
In addition to using your university password to access theVPN, a second authentication method will be required through Duo. To get started using the GlobalProtect VPN service you'll need to be sure you have registered first with Duo Security.
