What is the University of Utah VPN service?
Virtual Private Network (VPN) Center for High Performance Computing users are required to use the University of Utah VPN service to access the protected environment (PE) from off-campus or map home or group directories on a computer connected to a non-University network. Virtual Private Network (VPN) access is available through UIT.
What resources are available for remote access to the University Network?
Off-campus or remote access to licensed resources on the University Network is available for the University of Utah community. All faculty, students and staff are eligible. Does the University of Utah offer any other email services?
Since the University of Utah already uses UMail as the primary email source, we cannot provide University email in any other place. You can already access Outlook and Calendar through UMail, and you can download Skype for Business from software.utah.edu.
