How to setup remote access?

For academic faculty, this arrangement is limited to, but not necessarily required of, those academic faculty hired to teach solely in online degree programs. The decision to recommend a RWA for academic faculty to teach solely in online degree programs is at the discretion of the Dean. A RWA agreement is required.

The Engineering Computing Center is for the use of all College of Engineering majors/minors, and for anyone currently taking an engineering or computer science class in CoEN. The ECC has Windows 10 computers located in rooms SEM 231-A, B, C, D, SEM 321, WPEB 100, and 101.

To enroll in any online course you must be a current University of Nevada, Reno student. After being admitted, students may register for classes via MyNEVADA. To search for available online classes in MyNEVADA, under “Mode of Instruction,” select “Web Based Course.”

Remote services

From any online computer you can launch software applications hosted on the university's Remote Services server. If you are using a Mac you will need to install the Microsoft Remote Desktop Application to connect to Remote. Microsoft Windows users do not need to install a client/app.
