What is a Citrix receiver client?

The Receiver Client is what allows devices like the iPad, iPhone, Blackberry and Android to connect to Citrix. To obtain the Citrix Receiver Client for your device, follow the instructions below. You must download the client from the Apple Store using iTunes. They are free applications.

Does Citrix require a plug-in?

Citrix remote access requires a plug-in on your computer. Click on the appropriate client below to download and install. These clients are recommended for use with UHS citrix remote access. If you do not see a client for your environment, please visit the Citrix downloads page.

What is the phone number for UT Health San Antonio?

If you do not, please call the Information Management Client Support Services (Service Desk) at (210) 567-7777 to obtain instructions on how to acquire an account.

Does UT Health have an IP address?

Another property of the VPN is that once the VPN is established, the end user node appears to have a local UT Health San Antonio Internet (IP) address, which is required to access some specific applications (Library).

Does UT Health Science Center have a VPN?

Yes. VPN works along with your ISP to give a secure connection between your home computer and the UT Health Science Center campus. VPN does not replace your ISP, it works to protect data transmissions from being intercepted by a third party.
