Does UTK have subsidized pricing?
The subsidized pricing applies to select UTK academic and administrative cost centers. Non-UTK cost centers, auxiliaries, restricted funds (both sponsored and non-sponsored) and self-funded cost centers (beginning July 1, 2015) do not qualify for subsidized pricing. For some functions, the VPN can be accessed via the web portal at https://access.utk.edu but most functions of the VPN require a VPN client. The VPN client supported by the university is called Pulse Secure and can be downloaded at our software downloads site under the VPN category.
