What is a CSAR in Citrix?
UWHealth controls who has access to Citrix and how many privileges each user gets. Access requests are submitted with a Computer Systems Authorization Form (CSAR) . End users are expected to request access privileges from their supervisors.
Does Citrix require MFA?
On December 18, 2020, UWHealth increased their security by requiring all Citrix users to activate Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for their accounts. This adds a step to the login process whereby a user approves a login from his or her phone after entering his or her username and password at the Citrix login screen . Remote users (i.e. users attempting to connect from home or other offsite locations) must have MFA enabled in order to log into Citrix.
Can you access a virtual computer on the UWHealth network?
Select users with the proper permissions can access a virtual Windows computer on the UWHealth network. This is useful for several reasons, including gaining access to shared network drives on the UWHealth network and using Office products linked to your UWHealth account (such as Outlook).
